Absolute Machine Tools, Inc., is pleased to announce an exclusive partnership with Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd., Kaohsiung County, Taiwan. Absolute will import and distribute Tongtai machine tools through its North American distribution network.
Steve Ortner, president of Absolute Machine Tools, says the new partnership will expand Absolute's already expansive product offerings and will allow it to target new markets. Absolute adds the Tongtai line to its other Taiwanese machine tool offerings, including Johnford machining and turning centers, the Hi-Net line of precision high-speed machining centers, You Ji vertical turning centers, and Ecoca's CNC turning centers.
The Tongtai line of machine tools centers includes a full range of HMCs from 400mm to 1,250mm pallets, an extensive array of CNC milling and tapping centers (standalone or with pallets), high performance VMCs, 5-axis trunnion-type machining centers, and a complete range of standard and multifunction turning centers.
