The FZ 19 S 5-axis solution combines flexibility, speed, and accuracy for precision manufacturing of complex components such as aircraft landing gear, transmission housings, and heavy-duty structural parts. Equipped with HSK-A63 or HSK-A100 spindle options, MT Technology with turning up to 800rpm, rapid axis feed rates of 75m/min, 196-tool capacity, and ergonomic crane loading, the FZ 19 S is built for high-performance production in demanding aerospace environments. With corresponding milling performance and dynamics, it allows productive manufacturing on a single-spindle machine in a compact space.

The FZ 19 S 5-axis is the first machining center in the 19 Series and can be equipped with the power necessary to precisely machine materials such as Inconel or titanium.

With 700mm travel in Z, the working area is suitable for 5-axis simultaneous machining of workpieces with a cubic capacity up to 580mm or cylinders up to 820mm in diameter and 700mm in length. The first machine variant of the series is also available with an HSK-A100 interface and a maximum spindle torque of 408N·m for machining components from blanks for aerospace applications.

Modular design allows individual configuration according to requirements, for example, with motor spindles developed and manufactured in-house, various rotary table packages, and tool magazines in three sizes each for the HSK-A63 and HSK-A100 interface, with capacity for 36 to 196 tools.

The19 Series offers the FZ 19 S 5-axis or the FZ 19 S mill-turn variant. Reduced downtimes, high performance, and surface quality advantages are shared by the FZ 19 S mill-turn which can also be used for turning large and heavy workpieces up to 0.8t and 800mm in diameter.

In addition, the 19 Series is prepared for the integration of all SmartLine digital systems – advanced simulation and optimization of machining operations, condition monitoring, and preventive machine protection.
