September 2025 winner:
Tom Buszkiewicz, Process Engineer, Triumph Gear Systems, Macomb, Michigan
How long have you been involved in aerospace manufacturing? Since 1985.
How did you become interested in aircraft? It’s about the challenge. Precision aircraft parts are difficult to manufacture. Not everyone can do it.
What is your favorite aircraft and why? The Boeing B-52. It’s well designed, customizable, upgradable, flexible, and some are still flying after 60+ years.
Runners-up:
Robert Herman, Engineering Manager, Connectronics Corp., Toledo, Ohio
David Murphy, Advisor Engineer, Bechtel Corp., Schenectady, New York
