KOMET of America Lands First KOMET SERVICE Partner

CountyLine will provide customers with tool refurbishment services, KOMET brand standard, made-to-order solid carbide tools

CountyLine Tool of East Peoria, IL has become the first North American KOMET SERVICE licensed partner, providing customers with tool refurbishment services, as well as KOMET brand standard and made-to-order solid carbide tools.

“The KOMET SERVICE network already counts over 15 partners in four European countries, and we are starting to roll the concept out in North America," says Thomas Whennen, manager of  KOMET SERVICE  for North America. "The idea is for KOMET customers to find everything under one roof: the possibility to get KOMET tools, as well as tools of other brands refurbished and re-coated, but also to access standard and simple special carbide tools, and the expert field support that they have come to expect from KOMET. I am thrilled to welcome CountyLine Tool as our first U.S. partner.”

Founded in 1984, CountyLine Tool distinguishes itself as a cutting tool manufacturing and refurbishment specialist with a singular focus on quality.

CountyLine Tool relies on a team of proven tool grinding professionals, significant investments in technologically-advanced equipment, and a 10,500ft2 climate-controlled facility to provide exacting customers superior quality tools and unwavering personalized service. Part of their commitment to quality and consistency, the company is in the process of obtaining their ISO 9001 certification.

These partnerships will allow current KOMET customers to experience an enhanced level of service and support from KOMET, will represent a growth opportunity for our partners through an expansion of their product and service portfolio, and will enhance KOMET’s brand presence and customer proximity in North America through an extensive network of local partners.

“It is a win-win-win situation for all,” comments Whennen. “We have an aggressive implementation plan, and I look forward to welcoming several other KOMET SERVICE partners in 2013.”

The onboarding of CountyLine Tool as a KOMET SERVICE partner will be marked by a grand opening to take place on Feb. 28 at the company's East Peoria facility. Part of CountyLine Tool’s involvement with the local community, they will also conduct a food drive and collect donations for the benefit of a local food pantry during the event.
