The new tools are designed for internal grooving with a minimum bore diameter of 1” (25mm) and are compatible with 2mm, 3mm, and 4mm inserts.
To best match customer requirements, the tools are available in four neck styles: 3” reach with 0.375”(10mm) cutting depth, 3” reach with 0.500”(13mm) cutting depth, 1.5” reach with 0.375”(10mm) cutting depth and 1.5” reach with 0.500”(13mm) cutting depth. The elliptical cross-sectional area of the neck provides maximum rigidity.
