Sintavia’s CEO, Brian Neff, participated in a panel discussion on supply chain readiness at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS 2018) in Chicago.

Officials from Sintavia, a Tier 1 metal additive manufacturer, recently announced a partnership with Sumitomo Corp. of America (SCOA) which will support additive manufacturing advancements in the global aerospace and oil and gas industries. Kenichi Hyuga, SVP and general manager of SCOA’s Construction and Transportation Systems Group said, “We believe Sintavia’s highly advanced technology will add immediate value to our current business relationships and position us for even greater business opportunities in the future.”

Additionally, Sintavia made rapid fire announcements of machine acquisitions from manufacturers TRUMPF, EOS and SLM. With these acquisitions, the company has doubled its capacity to 12 additive manufacturing (AM) machines so far this year.

“Adding these machines to our production capacity was a necessity, as our customers’ needs have increased significantly in volume over the last six months,” says Sintavia LLC President Doug Hedges. “We are meeting this demand head-on. As Sintavia continues to grow, we expect to more than double capacity to 25 machines in 2019 after our new facility in Hollywood, Florida, is complete next spring.”
