Quickstep Holdings Ltd., Australia’s independent manufacturer of advanced carbon fiber composite components has agreed to future collaboration with U.S.-based aerospace structures, systems, and component manufacturer Triumph Group Inc.

Mark Burgess, Quickstep CEO and managing director said, “This is an exciting opportunity for Quickstep and demonstrates that our recent investments in the U.S. market are already paying off. Triumph is a quality company, with a strong track record in the composite aerostructures market and we believe we will benefit greatly from this collaboration with them.”

Triumph and Quickstep will work closely together to actively explore and cooperate in pursuing new business opportunities, bringing together their combined capabilities to offer value composites solutions to customers in the U.S. and Australian defense and aerospace markets.

Ian Reason, military business development vice president for Triumph added, “By working together, we expect to gain a mutual benefit that is greater than working independently and this will enable us to jointly offer better value solutions to our respective customers in both Australia and the U.S.”

Quickstep and Triumph have already identified future opportunities to collaborate on and this is expected to accelerate with this agreement.
